ProLeiT at BrauBeviale in Nuremberg

BrauBeviale – the most important international capital goods exhibition for the whole beverage industry – will be held in Nuremberg from 11 - 13 November 2014. Come and visit ProLeiT in Hall 5 at Stand 201 and discover more about our industry-specific automation solutions. Test our process control systems brewmaxx and Plant iT and learn more about the new MES brewmaxx Integrate and Plant Integrate iT.

The following will be showcased at our stand:

  • Carlsberg brewery Fredericia/Denmark
With an annual output of approximately 4.3 m hl the Carlsberg brewery in Fredericia is one of the largest breweries in Europe. More than 40 brands of beer and more than 20 mixed products make Fredericia the most important brewery location for Carlsberg in Denmark. The existing MES systems were replaced after re-automating the entire plant with brewmaxx. Carlsberg now employs the plant-wide MES reporting and workflow management system brewmaxx Integrate, which is responsible for interfacing with the SAP system, validating process batches and providing an inventory overview for production planning. Furthermore, the system documents manual intervention and extract losses. Finally, the integrated reporting system combines production and quality data – including specification testing and business intelligence.
  • Eckes-Granini Deutschland GmbH (EGD)
Eckes-Granini Deutschland GmbH (EGD) is the leading supplier of fruit beverages in Germany. The existing BDE system of the bottling lines at two facilities was replaced by the Line Management System (LMS) from ProLeiT. At the same time, ProLeiT implemented a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for goods intake, bottling orders and material master data with seamless integration in the higher-order SAP system. Product data and production orders from all the bottling lines can now be managed transparently through a central system, thus facilitating planning and control tasks significantly. Furthermore, the process control system Plant Batch iT is used for the fruit mixing process orders. The continuous processing of information from the SAP system via the MES to the batch system and back ensures the efficient (vertical) management of bills of materials (BOM) for production and the coherent (horizontal) analysis of all production information via MES or SAP.

  • Energy management system for the brewing and beverage industry
A solution for energy monitoring and management in beverage companies will also be on show. Due to high energy costs and the common assumption that the price of electricity, oil and gas will continue to rise in the future, many manufacturers are asking themselves the question as to whether and how they can continue to produce goods cost efficiently in the future. The exhibit will show how energy consumption can be initially determined and then reduced significantly during production. The recorded measured values enable production plants to recognize limit values, implement respective early warning mechanisms, make statements about long and short-term consumption developments and compare energy consumption over several years. Application of our energy management solution also has a positive and sustained impact on the energy balance of the production plants. Come and listen to the lecture on energy management in breweries and beverage plants by Michael Sembenotti, head of the ProLeiT Innovation Centre. The lecture, which is open to all, will take place in the BrauBeviale Forum in Hall 1 from 2.35pm to 2.55pm on 2014-11-11.

  • brewmaxx V9 demo system
This exhibit displays all the latest V9 innovations and showcases the advantages of our process control system using neutral material and product data. Besides the basic version, the module for material management brewmaxx material, the add-ons brewmaxx Routing Management and brewmaxx Visu-Recorder will be on show.

A highlight of this year's BrauBeviale will be the unveiling of brewmaxx Integrate – the industry solution for MES, reporting and analyses. Visit our trade fair stand and discover how easily production reports can be displayed and transferred via a web browser. With the help of our new partner Qlik, we are able to centrally process and edit information from various sources, whilst ensuring it is displayed in a leading-edge manner on multiple devices.

We look forward to meeting you at our stand in Hall 5 / Stand 201.
