ProLeiT and Rockwell Automation today announce a global alliance that enables the development and sale of ProLeiT’s Plant iT and brewmaxx process control systems using the Rockwell Automation Logix Control Platform for the CPG industry (Consumer Packaged Goods).

The two companies will collaborate on a project to enable the use of the Plant iT process control system for the food and beverage industry as well as brewmaxx for the brewing industry with the Logix platform.

More specifically, this means that the existing Plant iT basic process control functionality will be developed further to include all Plant iT functionality like the sequence controller with parameter-oriented recipe handling, and complete order, batch and materials management, enhanced beyond today’s capability.
